Tell us how you found your true love and what made you decide to make a public commitment in the form of marriage. There is a love story for everyone, and each is unique through place, personality, and style!
Jackie White was born to work in the wedding industry. No, really. Her mom Diana Boucher is a superstar in industry circles, having planned weddings in Texas for 30+ years and simply put, Jackie grew up in the business.
Jackie is General Manager at Hofmann Ranch, our gorgeous 370 acre wedding venue in San Antonio, TX, and has been at the venue since 2016. She loves working with couples on their weddings and helping to plan the most fun day of their lives. We sat down with Jackie to ask her a few questions about her job and any advice she’d like to share with nervous couples.
Joining us today from Watsonville, CA is Amy Hotaling, owner and founder of ‘Linny’s Floral’. Amy is a passionate florist, a caring mother, a loving daughter, and an entrepreneur at heart. Linny’s Floral creates exquisite floral designs for weddings, events, and special occasions. We love her signature use of bright colors and wispy greens! As a Bay Area native and expert on all things flowers, we just knew she’d be the perfect floral partner for our esteemed wedding venue, Eagle Ridge, just south of San Jose in Santa Clara Valley, CA.
Throughout these past few months, we’ve been touched by the outpouring of support from clients and their guests across America. Committing to marry is an emotional process and we’re grateful to every client that chooses Wedgewood Weddings for their special day.
Wedding photography is an art in itself and you want to be sure you’re getting it right by choosing the best photographer who fully understands and respects your vision.
Live streaming lets you share the intimate and memorable moments of your wedding with friends and family who are unable to attend the event in person. Streaming key elements of your wedding is a wonderful way to include anyone who's unavailable to be there. You might have guests living abroad or across state lines, loved ones who are unwell, or guests unable to travel.
While not an integral part of your wedding, live streaming is becoming increasingly popular, so let's run through how to do it well so that your virtual guests aren't left wondering why they can only see the floor!
The costs of live streaming a wedding vary—choose a DIY option, nominate a dependable guest to coordinate, or hire a professional. Our teams at all Wedgewood Weddings venues can put you in touch with experts as we're happy to say all our hand-picked photographers and videographers offer the service. Alternatively, many companies specialize specifically in real-time virtual experiences.
When searching for a wedding venue, couples start with logical factors such as location, budget, and style. When it comes to choosing "the one" however, it's often more of an emotional decision. You may fall in love with a certain feature or unique element that will help bring your vision to life - a rustic ranch, glimmering pool, or relaxing ocean view. Or, it might be more intangible. Perhaps the people you meet, a feeling when you step into the reception hall, or a unique story about the venue that captures your heart.
New creative ideas are making their way into the wedding industry as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. With many state and local jurisdictions continuing to limit large gatherings, and many couples still hoping to move forward with their event as planned, we're ready with a solution that can accommodate both.
