Real Wedding: New Year'S Eve at Stonebridge Manor In AZ

Written by Wedgewood Weddings & Events | Mar 27, 2024 11:27:00 PM

Imagine picking out your dream venue. You look over at your partner. “I think this is it,” you say, and you grab their hand in excitement and anticipation of what’s to come. You meet with the wedding expert, who seems to instantly become a trusted friend. You tour the venue, picture yourself walking down the aisle, and maybe even shed a tear. Then you find out they have the date you're hoping for, the proposal is in budget, and you can hardly wait to make the date and venue yours.

Now imagine doing all of this virtually. That’s exactly what Tom and Erin did leading up to their New Year’s Eve wedding at Stonebridge Manor! They shared:

Once we arrived for our rehearsal on Saturday (our first time seeing the venue!), we knew that we had made the right decision. Everything was exactly how the team had described it. Many of our wedding party were also in the events industry at some point and were immediately impressed with the venue.

Not only did Erin and Tom book their venue sight unseen from Florida, but they also work in the hospitality industry. They knew the team at Stonebridge Manor had their work cut out for them in terms of putting their minds at ease and allowing them to truly enjoy their day.

With us being in the business and knowing what goes into it, we knew it’d be a challenge for us to trust someone and let us truly shut our brains off and enjoy our day. Our coordinator put us at ease from our first conversation and delivered one of the most impeccable events we could have imagined.

They started off with a charming ceremony in the Manor Courtyard, backed by the venue’s famous stone bridge. Tom made the decision to walk down the aisle with his and Erin’s adorable daughter, Magnolia. The pair shared a sweet exchange with Erin at the altar once she arrived, creating a lifelong memory (and the most precious photos) for the family.

TOM, ERIN, AND THE STAR OF THEIR CEREMONY: BABY MAGNOLIA

Once cocktail hour started, everyone’s two favorite players came out: appetizers and alcohol! Tom and Erin even customized their signature drinks with their pups’ names: “The Winston,” a spicy margarita, and “The Lacey,” a French 75.

Once the reception started, we were immediately bombarded with comments on how great the team was and how delicious the "Winston" spicy margarita was. Both of us know how hard it is to maintain quality and flavor in a batch cocktail and the team crushed it. The appetizers all tasted great and were well presented, which set the tone for a wonderful dinner.

Their grand entrance led into their reception in the Garden Pavilion, adorned with glittering chandeliers and string lights. Erin opted for the venue’s upgraded wooden farm tables and provided her own black runners to add to the New Year’s Eve aesthetic. The florist enhanced the tablescape with greenery, baby’s breath, and floating candles, accompanied by the couples’ guest favor: custom matches!

As the evening wore on, the couple continued to surprise their guests with a photo booth (a fan favorite) and not one or two, but six late-night snacks, ranging from donuts to tater tots. The true icing on the cake was at midnight when Tom’s one request was fulfilled: he wanted to hit the button for the Grand Sparkler Moment!

We hope some of our friends take our recommendation and steal our venue in the future so we can enjoy more events at Stonebridge Manor! The team is simply the best!
