Hidden in the middle of Long Beach, The Sanctuary by Wedgewood Weddings is a gorgeous wedding and event venue that takes you into a world all its own. Recently renovated, the picturesque courtyard, elaborate cathedral, and rustic-yet-modern grand hall provide a secluded and spacious space for various celebrations.
 
Built in 1905, The Sanctuary is one of Long Beach's most unique historical sites. From the breathtaking stained glass windows to the decorative exposed wood beams and rustic touches found throughout, you can glimpse a little piece of history as you walk through the property. Entering through the open-air courtyard, guests will enjoy cocktails and lawn games in the elegant al fresco quadrangle surrounded by majestic trees and the towering walls of the cathedral.
 
As you enter the west wing, your guests will be greeted by the magnificent cathedral that makes this space unique. The gorgeous vaulted ceilings, decorative exposed wood beams, vintage hanging lanterns, and stained glass windows are paired with elegant Spanish-style architecture. This spacious spot is ideal for ceremonies and receptions alike, with enough room for up to 200 guests.
 
Through the corridor and in to the east wing of the building, you will find the rustic grand hall. The open layout of this space, combined with its recent renovations, provides ample room for receptions. This hall contains the ideal balance of modern and rustic features, from the oak hardwood floors to the wrought iron chandeliers. Additionally, you'll be delighted by the stained glass window, built-in stage for live entertainment, and stunning vaulted ceilings.

That’s our philosophy, which is why we’ll give you a unique pricing proposal during your personalized venue tour. Our team will provide you with all the details and help you customize your package. This allows us to gain a clear understanding of your wedding wish list and help you clearly see how your wedding can take shape.

If you'd like ballpark pricing now, simply download our PDF to get a general idea of the costs for your wedding. Keep in mind that these figures are approximate since all our packages are fully customizable. You can add or subtract services to tailor your event to your needs. 

Our pricing is based on four areas. First, you decide on your package level and multiply it by the number of guests. Next, you add the ceremony and venue price, which varies depending on the season and day of the week you're considering. Finally, you'll add your admin fee and state tax. As you can see, we include all the big-ticket items like the venue, the décor, and the catering so your wedding budget can work harder.
