Coastal ceremonies can be celebrated in your choice of two locations. The first is just a quick 10-minute drive down the road from Cuvier Club at the Calumet ceremony site, nestled away within the community of Bird Rock. This private park provides a quiet setting and room for up to 120 guests to hear you say 'I do.' With a lush green lawn surrounding you and the cliffside sitting behind your ceremony site, you can capture a gorgeous sunset and all of the beauty of golden hour.

Just a five-minute walk from Cuvier Club is the second seaside ceremony option at Cuvier Park. With expansive views of Wipeout Beach in the distance, you'll capture all of the beauty of the California coast at this beautiful spot. Lush coastal botanicals and an expansive green lawn make up this cliffside location that perfectly captures the exquisite beauty of a San Diego sunset.

Does a garden ceremony better suit your style? Outside Cuvier Club, the private Bouganviella Courtyard provides an intimate and gorgeous setting for an elegant gathering. Surrounded by abundant greenery, vibrant pink Bouganviella florals, walls of ivy, and two romantic fountains, this paved courtyard brings the beauty of Tuscany to the Southern California coast. Similarly, if you prefer an offsite vow exchange, the Bouganviella Courtyard is ideal for a sunset cocktail hour or a romantic dinner under the stars.

Receptions delight inside the Cuvier Club's grand hall. Formerly a USO Hall that served as a recreation center for Army personnel, Cuvier Club was renovated in 2010 and upgraded with chic amenities and features. With the original hardwood flooring intact, this former rec center's attributes include pitched ceilings with bistro string lights, a built-in stage for live performances, and many frosted French doors surrounding the room, flooding it with beautiful natural light. With room for up to 250 guests, small and large wedding parties will enjoy all this spacious grand hall has to offer.

My fiancé and I are recently engaged and started the wedding planning process early. We had looked at three other venues before visiting Cuvier Club. The team was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They also made sure we felt comfortable with our planning and offered options that were feasible for us. With the many different options they offer, the one thing we loved was the All-Inclusive option which alleviates a lot of stress from our plates. We look forward to our 15-month engagement and the staff are readily available to address all my eager questions! Highly recommend!

We had our wedding at Cuvier Club in November 2022. For a beach wedding in La Jolla the cost was incredibly reasonable and it was beautiful! The team was great to work with and very professional. When planning a wedding things can change from one day to the next. They were very flexible with changing our menu, guest count, updating rental items, and honoring promises for discounted items. For our second walk through, the team was available to answer any questions. On the day of, our Banquet Captain did a fantastic job making sure appetizers and dinner were served on time. The entire team is there to help create the best experience and bring your vision to life. I would 100% have my wedding at the Cuvier Club again!

We had our wedding at Cuvier Club and it couldn't have gone any smoother! We originally chose the venue for the location in La Jolla, the ability to comfortably hold at least 125 guests, and their outdoor and indoor spaces. The garden outside is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our outdoor cocktail hour. Meanwhile, the indoor hall area was clean, spacious, and the perfect area to accommodate all our festivities, eating, and dancing. Their all-inclusive packages made planning the wedding and hiring vendors so easy, especially since we were out-of-state during much of that time. Our coordinator was an absolute pleasure to work with! The team orchestrated the day perfectly and we couldn't have done it without them! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

While it seems like it should be simple, wedding pricing can be surprisingly complex. We believe that you should be able to get all your pricing upfront so you can easily find out what everything costs and decide what fits within your budget.

That’s our philosophy, which is why we’ll give you a unique pricing proposal during your personalized venue tour. Our team will provide you with all the details and help you customize your package. This allows us to gain a clear understanding of your wedding wish list and help you clearly see how your wedding can take shape.

If you'd like ballpark pricing now, simply download our PDF to get a general idea of the costs for your wedding. Keep in mind that these figures are approximate since all our packages are fully customizable. You can add or subtract services to tailor your event to your needs. 

Our pricing is based on four areas. First, you decide on your package level and multiply it by the number of guests. Next, you add the ceremony and venue price, which varies depending on the season and day of the week you're considering. Finally, you'll add your admin fee and state tax. As you can see, we include all the big-ticket items like the venue, the décor, and the catering so your wedding budget can work harder.
