LOCAL SUPPORT FOR OUR COMMUNITIES

As a wedding and special event company, we love to spread happiness and find every reason to celebrate! We've been a supporter of local nonprofits and charitable groups throughout our nearly 40 years in business. To this day, Wedgewood Weddings and the Zaruka family have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of many local organizations. From Junior Golf to Boys & Girls Clubs to FOOD Share of Ventura County, our hearts have been involved in making our community a better and happier place.

Marriage is a union of people with a common bond and, at Wedgewood Weddings, we're proud to be married to our community.

ONGOING INITIATIVES

For us, community starts with bringing people together. We provide venues for people to share, celebrate, and inspire. Our passion stems from combining profitability with making a positive difference through affordable, professionally organized event and meeting facilities.

Within Wedgewood Weddings, community relations have always been paramount. At every venue, we encourage our general managers to join the Chamber of Commerce and build strong relationships within the neighborhood.

Our teams are part of family life from naming ceremonies to birthdays, weddings, and through to retirement and memorial services.
Our venue managers enjoy building relationships with local business and social groups as it’s beneficial for everyone when events become regular. Our teams delight in helping familiar faces and we are often able to branch out into serving auxiliary needs within the same group.

We love to give back. Last year, each venue was able to contribute $1,500+ to local charities and foundations. The team at each venue selected a cause and gave locally often pairing their donation with active participation and support. Causes ranged from supporting underserved children and adults, to animal, environment, and medical research.
