Meet Catering Manager Sarah J.

At Wedgewood Weddings, we pride ourselves on the fantastic relationships we build with our clients and team members. We love to hire people passionate about event planning; that just so happens to be the case with Sarah Jurado.

Sarah started her career with Wedgewood Weddings in mid-2021. She took on planning extraordinary events at Rio Hondo by Wedgewood Weddings in Downey, California. During her time at this gorgeous golf course property, she helped plan more than 100 events, created a virtual tour video, and even managed the social media for Rio Hondo.

When it comes to planning weddings and events, Sarah says that she loves working alongside team members who are just as committed to making sure that couples have a memorable wedding day. In addition to working with a fantastic team, she says that Wedgewood Weddings provides an environment that is supportive and caring and allows her and her team to have fun together.

So much goes into hosting a wedding, and catering managers like Sarah play a tremendous role in bringing these special days to life.

After working at Rio Hondo for a year and a half, Sarah took her experience to The Sanctuary in Long Beach. This majestic chapel venue will start hosting events in late 2023, putting Sarah hard at work with her new team members to plan these upcoming events while supporting the various improvements coming to the property. From planning weddings at the vast Rio Hondo Golf Club to the intimate surroundings of The Sanctuary, we're excited to see all of the events that are hosted at this gorgeous property.
