Amidst blooming flowers and under sunny skies, Stephanie and Bernard delighted guests by exchanging vows on a lovely Monday evening in April at Carmel Fields by Wedgewood Weddings. A unique highlight of their special day was a live artist capturing their nuptials on canvas in real time - offering guests an interactive and memorable way to witness the happy couple's ceremony.
Live wedding painting is a creative trend that makes for a stunning memento couples can cherish for years. Guests loved being able to watch the artist's skilled strokes bring the wedding day details to life before their eyes. The stunning photos below offer a glimpse into the joyous occasion.
THE BEGINNING OF THEIR INCREDIBLE PAINTING BY STEPHANIE GAFFNEY
On the big day, Stephanie gathered with her bridesmaids in the elegant get-ready room at Carmel Fields. Stephanie and her bridesmaids raised celebratory glasses of champagne while her mom helped zip up her stunning satin dress.

The couple opted to have their ceremony officiated by a close friend, adding a meaningful personal touch on their special day. Additionally, the bride and groom wrote and read their own vows to one another during the ceremony. The wooden arch was decorated with greenery and flowers from Flor De Monterey.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while the couple snuck away for a few private moments to enjoy together. Guests mingled and were treated to the delicious appetizers included in their Elite package:
For the reception, the couple kept things clean and elegant with ivory linens, ivory napkins, silver charger plates, and vineyard chairs to create a sophisticated yet natural aesthetic. They also added a thoughtful personal touch by tucking handwritten thank you notes into each napkin, Flor De Monterey provided beautiful centerpieces with ivory blooms complemented by fresh greenery and hints of lavender flowers for pops of color.

The evening continued with heartfelt speeches and plenty of dancing for the newlyweds and their guests. For a delicious dessert, Stephanie and Bernard chose a white lemon cake with creamy cheesecake filling and fresh strawberries. This sweet treat was an amazing way to cap off the night!

As the reception drew to a close, guests were treated to the grand reveal of the stunning live painting that Stephanie had been working on throughout the evening. Stephanie had captivatingly translated the atmosphere of love and celebration into a vibrant work of art for the newlyweds.
