Karolyn & Chris: SoCal Winter Wedding

A warm Californian winter day is the perfect backdrop for a wedding at San Clemente Shore by Wedgewood Weddings, and that's precisely what Karolyn and Chris enjoyed. A classic palette of deep greens with more than a splash of reds. There was something exquisite and delightful about the romantic and beautiful wedding. Excited family and friends surrounded the couple as they said I do. 

Meet Karolyn and Chris, San Clemente Shore by Wedgewood Weddings

The wedding day of Karolyn and Chris was filled with memorable moments, from the first look to the last song played. The couple decided to have an intimate first look at the wrap-around balcony of San Clemente Shore, which was so romantic. Karolyn wore the wedding dress her grandmother, mother, aunts, and sister wore on their wedding day. In contrast, Chris wore a classic elegant tuxedo.

After their first look, Chris and Karolyn decided to take pre-ceremony photos at the cliffs of San Clemente State Beach. During this time, the pair enjoyed a few moments together, which eased the nerves.

As guests arrived, they enjoyed the Pacific Ocean's cool breeze and the Californian sun's warm sun rays of a winter day. Family and friends mingled as they patiently waited for the start of the ceremony.

Everyone smiled as the ceremony started. Chris smiled as Karolyn made her debut, walking down the brick-lined aisle by her father's side. Chris and Karolyn exchanged vows under the Spanish-style pergola and surrounded by the evergreen garden, a picture-perfect moment. Karolyn and Chris' ceremony was full of thoughtful readings read by their loved ones and the personal vows they wrote to each other.

As the ceremony concluded, the guests made their way to the expansive wrap-around balcony, completed with a fire pit to keep warm and bistro lighting to give a romantic atmosphere. While guests mingled and were deep in conversation, the couple surprised them by joining in the cocktail hour. Karolyn and Chris enjoyed the appetizers and specialty drinks, including the Roma Tomato and Fresh Basil Bruschetta. He had an old-fashioned, and she had a French 75.

As the pair entered the grand hall, you could feel every guest's love for Karolyn and Chris. It was a grand entrance to remember, with cheers, tears, and even dancing. The couple went to each table for special moments with their guests during dinner. In addition to Karolyn's dad, Chris' sister and Karolyn's sister gave overly joyful speeches. Everyone was ready to go dance as the first song started to play. 

The décor beautifully complemented the opulence of the San Clemente grand hall. The guests' tables were beautifully arranged with hunter-green linens, ivory napkins, and gold charger plates. Floral centerpieces included white hydrangeas, red roses, white Peruvian lilies, and greenery. Finally, fairy lights were added as a finishing touch.

Chris and Karolyn chose the Elite Wedding Package for their wedding day. As a result, they dotted their i's and crossed their t's when caring for their guests. Served with fresh baked bread and butter, the first course was a raspberry signature salad, followed by roasted salmon and chicken with potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The open bar featured all the classic drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and was a great surprise for the guests. 

They had a three-tiered cake with cream frosting and fresh flowers. Karolyn chose the vanilla with raspberry filling, and Chris chose the chocolate with raspberry filling, an ideal mixture for this lovely couple. 

Fun memories WERE created as Karolyn & Chris cut their BEAUTIFUL WEDDING cake. 

Romantic moments fill the wedding celebration that will last a lifetime. Fun memories will come up from time to time, and of course, we cannot forget the breathtaking dress that is sure to be worn by many future generations to come.
