April & Oliver's Elegant Summer Wedding

Meet April & Oliver! We're here to gush a bit over their elegant summer wedding that took place at The Ranch at Silver Creek in San Jose, California. With navy blue and blush pink as their primary wedding colors, this romantic wedding had the perfect backdrop with the stunning rolling hills surrounding San Jose. 

April & Oliver take in the Mediterranian details of The Ranch at Silver Creek.

This fun wedding party complements the wedding's theme with silk blush pink dresses, baby's breath flower crowns, and navy blue tuxedos. 

The ballroom is ready for the reception to begin with elegant candelabras and high floral centerpieces.

Complete with soft pink and white roses, white hydrangea, chrysanthemums, and baby's breath, the floral centerpieces bring the room together.

The reception is the high point of any wedding, second only to the ceremony, and what is a wedding reception without great music, food, and cake? During cocktail hour guests enjoyed passed appetizers during cocktail hour including bruschetta with tomato, olive oil, and garlic, crispy oriental egg rolls, and chicken and spinach potstickers. Yum!

After enjoying their first dance, they opted for a buffeted service during the reception featuring crispy vegetables with roasted red pepper aioli and bleu cheese dressing, an assortment of sliced fruit, and domestic and imported cheese with sliced baguettes. As a final touch to the dinner service, they added a champagne and cider toast for an elegant finale before turning up the music for a night of dancing.

April & Oliver enjoy their first moments as husband and wife with a fog-covered dance floor and a grand sparkler entrance for a spectacular and dream-like first dance.

April & Oliver snuck out for some romantic photo ops, with the rolling hills and lights of San Jose to complete the sunset backdrop.
