We’re taking over the gorgeous vintage windmill structure in Carlsbad, CA and making it The Carlsbad Windmill by Wedgewood Weddings. The eye-catching building has been an iconic landmark in this beach city for decades, so we’re thrilled to make it our own!
At Wedgewood Weddings, we have over a dozen beautiful wedding venues located in Southern California, and this new addition marks our southernmost venue, expanding us further into the San Diego area. We’re ready to start sharing our all-inclusive packages - that make wedding planning easy - with lots of happy couples in North County! And with $1M worth of renovations to refresh the space, we know you’ll love the look of our new, quirky venue!
After its makeover, expect to see lots of modern upgrades with trendy features like brick accent walls, playful lighting fixtures, an outdoor fireplace, and farmhouse/boho styling. Ceremonies will be held in the newly created modern chapel with vaulted ceilings, handsome draping, and skylights to flood the room with natural light. Cocktail hour will be hosted on the renovated patio with a stately lounge area before guests are welcomed in the grand ballroom with a decorative built-in bar.
Minutes from the beach, the Carlsbad Flower Fields, and Legoland, our new venue is in an absolutely perfect location for both local and out-of-town guests – not to mention, they can stay onsite at the Carlsbad by the Sea Hotel!
Complimentary tours will be given seven days a week starting on Monday, August 19th and wedding celebrations will begin in early Spring 2020.
