Erica and Michael's California summertime wedding was spectacular. A couple with great poise, an elegant equestrian ranch, and sophisticated décor was ideal for an event where everything was just as romantic and exquisite as Erica and Michael's relationship.
Lush green meadows and lofty trees lay hidden in the heart of Southern California's Temecula Wine Country. This enchanting space can be found at Galway Downs by Wedgewood Weddings, a beautiful wedding venue with exquisite grounds and a modern carriage house with rustic barn styling. This was where Erica and Michael said their vows on a gorgeous August day.
In their get-ready suites, Erica and Michael were joined by their wedding party, where new memories were created. Erica and her bridesmaid drank champagne as they laughed and got their hair and makeup ready. Erica's mom had a special surprise for Erica, a beautiful set of earrings as a wedding gift. Michael took this time to process all the emotions of this day as he patiently waited to see his bride walk down the aisle. Erica opted to do a first look with her father before walking down the aisle to see Michael for the first time.
Erica and Michael created a beautiful wedding for all to enjoy and create memories. Each guest felt welcome as they enjoyed the serene atmosphere, lush green meadows, sun-dappled shade, and beautiful atmospheric music from the Arroyo String Quartet. White hydrangeas, white roses, and silver dollar eucalyptus decorated the stunning dark stain arch facing west; golden sun rays perfectly illuminated the site. Two Clydesdale horses drew Erica's carriage as she made her grand entrance.
After their gorgeous ceremony concluded, Erica and Michael walked the property to capture their first moments as husband and wife while their guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Erica and Michael had planned all the special details with the help of Wedgewood Weddings experts. Under the oak trees surrounding the Carriage House, guests enjoyed a selection of appetizers hand-selected by the bride and groom. An open bar was the perfect detail added for their all-inclusive wedding day.

Erica and Michael's reception at the Carriage House reflected their vision of elegance and classic. Golden accents beautifully complemented the dark wood farm tables and Louis chairs. Each guest table centerpiece was adorned with elegant floral arrangements that complemented the white cathedral ceiling drapery. While dinner was served, Erica and Michael took a moment to sneak out to take a few sunset photos. The traditional father-daughter and mother-son dance and inspirational speeches from loved ones followed dinner.
Dinner was coming to a close when the lovely couple headed to the cake table to get the dessert started. A white frosting and strawberry cake for the bride featured classic designs in the lower four tiers and the elegant letters E and M on the top tier. There was a small tribute of fondant animals that resembled their pups on the groom's cake, a three-tiered chocolate square cake.
